Research description

Millimeter-wave/THz electromagnetic waves lie between the microwave and the infrared light wave, where large bandwidth is available, and thus it promises an extremely high capacity for communication systems. In addition, THz wave can penetrate a wide range of non-conducting materials and are very directive. These features make it a very good candidate for high resolution sensing and imaging, which can be expected to be promising in non-destructive detection, biomedical imaging, autonomous vehicles, and so on.
